Connor Penn’s Journey
Where I began
At 14, I fell in love with social media and instantly knew this was a way it connected people and share stories. I posted my life, feelings, and the things that inspired me. I gained a following of over 100k, I realized I had a opportunity to tell stories that relate with others. This journey not only allowed me to express myself creatively but also opened doors to a career where I could inspire and connect with people and brands around the world through the art of storytelling.
Current
I’m currently a junior at Ferris State University, Where I am going more in depth about story telling thanks to the Television Digital Media Production Program. I’m learning new skills that are forming my understanding of the industry and helping me advance myself from where I was in high school. Learning these new set of skills is not just about gaining knowledge; it’s about preparing myself for my career where I can bring my creative visions to life and connect with audiences in unique ways.
Future
I want my career to end in a job as a social media marketer, where I can tell brands’ stories through engaging video content. I believe that every brand has a narrative that deserves to be shared, I want to be the one who brings those stories to life. By using my passion for storytelling with marketing techniques, I aim to create impactful content that resonates with audiences and helps brands connect on a deeper level. This is the goal I’m working towards, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
