Where I began
At 14, I fell in love with social media and instantly knew this was a way it connected people and shared stories. I posted my life, feelings, and the things that inspired me. I gained a following of over 100k, and I realized I had an opportunity to tell stories that relate to others. This journey not only allowed me to express myself creatively but also opened doors to a career where I could inspire and connect with people and brands around the world through the art of storytelling.
Current
I’m currently a senior at Ferris State University, where I am going more in-depth into storytelling thanks to the Television and Digital Media Production Program. I’m learning new skills that are forming my understanding of the industry and helping me advance myself from where I was on my own. Learning this new set of skills is not just about gaining knowledge; it’s about preparing myself for my career, where I can bring my creative visions to life and connect with audiences in unique ways.
Future
I want my career to begin in a job as a social media marketer/ social media editor, where I can tell brands’ stories through engaging video content. I believe that every brand has a narrative that deserves to be shared. I want to be the one who brings those stories to life. By using my passion for storytelling with current marketing techniques, I aim to create impactful content that resonates with audiences and helps brands connect in a creative and strategic way. This is the goal I’m working towards, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
